Happy April, beginning Monday! Where has the time gone?

We have just received a generous donation of women’s Depends, Night Defense, size small. We do have a large selection of men’s incontinence products too. Please call (633-9876) or come in (185 Townsend Ave.) if you need any of these products.

We are still searching for a gently used laptop, less than eight years old, as our public laptop is on its “last legs.” It doesn’t need to have all the bells and whistles – just the ability to connect to the internet and do some word processing. We would be very grateful for a Mac or PC.

We at The Community Center hope you all have a wonderful Easter this coming Sunday. Take time to smell the blooming flowers. Hopefully, the snow/ice of last weekend will disappear!

Midcoast Ca$h still has appointment times available for April 2, the last day they will be at the Boothbay Town Office. Otherwise, they may still have appointments available at their locations in Bath. If you would like help with your taxes, we’d be happy to make an appointment for you. Midcoast Ca$h will be holding 1 more day of free tax preparation, Tuesday, April 2, at the Boothbay Office, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are a must. If you’re interested, we will help you with the sign-up process at The Community Center. Tuesday, April 2: Mah Jongg 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; QiGong 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; VIP Luncheon at St. Andrews Village at 1 p.m.; Last day to get your taxes prepared at the Boothbay Town Hall (by appointment)

Wednesday, April 3: Love to Dance 10:30-11:30 a.m.; Cribbage 12:30-2 p.m.

Thursday, April 4: Mexican Train Dominoes and Cribbage 10 a.m.-noon

Friday, April 5: Scrabble and Rummikub Noon-2 p.m.

Puzzles, coffee, tea, goodies, and good camaraderie are always available all week long. Please save us from eating too many goodies ourselves by coming in and sharing our snacks. And we always welcome new faces and fresh ideas!
