Celebrate the birthday of Maine Art Gallery founder (and LCHA founder) Mildred Burrage at the Maine Art Gallery (15 Warren St., Wiscasset) at 3 p.m.  The Generations theme will be “My Mother the Artist” and will feature Linda Burley and Lisa Jahn-Clough. Lina Burley was vice president of the Maine Art Gallery in the 1960’s. Elena Jahn was a Monhegan artist, co-founder of the Women Artists of Monhegan Island, and author of “50 years: Growing up an Artist on Monhegan.” MAG Board member and Burrage scholar Martha Frink will provide short remarks. An artist-inspired birthday cake and sparkling wine will mark the occasion.
