Dear Editor:

The Boothbay Region Garden Club would like to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who helped make “Boothbay in Bloom” a fun and successful event. The Garden Club members are amazing. We really worked together to make this a creative, fun, community based day.  

A big thank you to Boothbay V.E.T.S., The American Legion Auxiliary, The Community Center, The Historical Society, Bigelow Laboratory, The Boothbay Region Land Trust, Boothbay Clean Water Initiative, Barter’s Island Bees, Boothbay Sea and Science Center and The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for sharing the day with us and coming up with fun activities for our visitors, young and still young.

Another big “Thank You” to people and organizations that donated their time and services, Hannaford Supermarket, Pinkham’s Gourmet Market, East Boothbay General Store, Daylilies from Don Cellers, Boxwoods from Mindy. So many more. We are lucky to live in this generous community.  We couldn’t have done it without your support.

And, a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by on a hot summer day to share  “Boothbay in Bloom” with us..
