In observance of Independence Day, God & Country will be celebrated  Sunday, July 7, at Boothbay Baptist Church during the 10:15 a.m. worship service, followed by a family cookout.

The service will feature patriotic music and the appreciative recognition of veterans in attendance. Pastor Glen Carter will give the sermon. There will be no Sunday School classes on July 7.  The worship service will also include patriotic music by the Praise Team 

Following the service will be the annual family cookout outside in the parking lot with grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as side dishes and desserts.  Dress casually, and remember to bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and any other picnic essentials.  All are invited.
