First National Bank donates $3,000 toward Community Fridge

First National Bank recently announced a $3,000 donation to the Community Resource Council towards a Community Fridge in Boothbay.

The Community Resource Council has partnered with the Town of Boothbay to house a community refrigerator, chest freezer and shelving for dry goods behind the Boothbay Municipal building. The Community Fridge will be available to provide easy access to healthy food and support those facing food insecurity in the Boothbay area.

“We’re proud to support the Community Resource Council and Town of Boothbay with this project,” said First National Bank’s VP, Branch Manager, Brenda Blackman. “The Community Fridge will be a great resource as we work together to help tackle food insecurity in our region.”
