The Boothbay Region Art Foundation (BRAF), open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is currently hosting the July Members’ Show, which includes an eclectic mix of the creative works of Maine artists.

An inclusive non-profit organization, the foundation has been the cornerstone of the region’s artistic community since 1963. Our mission is to provide exhibition space and the opportunity to sell pieces for artists of all ages and includes works in a variety of media, painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media.  

This month the Foundation is featuring two solo exhibitions: In Gallery One - David Hunter. “I don’t try to do anything more in my art than to capture the beauty of these settings,” he said.

Daryne Rockett’s show is in the Harbor Room. Color is the first focus of Daryne’s process where she draws inspiration from Maine’s tree-lined coastal waters and cheerful botanical gardens.
