Yet another very busy week here at Ocean Point!

If you were here vacationing this past week you experienced what I describe as “typical” Maine weather, a little bit of everything including rain, fog, humidity and several beautiful summer days.

Many of the ladies enjoyed the Wednesday evening Porch Party hosted by Cookie Dana and Suzie Hamblett, thank you ladies. Next year Cookie and Suzie are planning their porch party with a theme named “what was I thinking”? As explained by the ladies your attire for the evening should be something in your closet that you purchased and possible never wore as you realized you probably shouldn’t have made that choice. Sounds like a fun time so start searching through your closets.

Many thanks to Dana Wilson for arranging a presentation by Bigelow Lab last Thursday. It was very well attended as we all learned about the interesting and important work being done by the scientists at Bigelow. Their new facility is currently under construction.

Team Slayton defeated Team Dawson in last Sunday’s game 12-5. Outstanding plays were made by the Scianablo sisters Bella and Amelia and Owen Dawson hit a grand slam. There was a big turnout that included Jeff Slayton’s fraternity brothers.
