The event takes place Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the church grounds under the tall pine trees at 72 Gardiner Road in Jefferson.

Many activities are being planned, including a sale of treasured items, donated by parishioners and others. These include a baby jogging stroller, a child’s rocking horse, paintings, dishes, glassware, and much more.

In addition, the church will have a garden market offering a selection of sun and shade perennials to enjoy now and for fall planting. A variety of potted colorful annuals, herbs, house plants and starters, fresh vegetables and other surprises will be for sale.

The fair will also include the church’s traditional country cupboard booth and its famous pie sale.

There will be two raffles during the fair, one with donations from local merchants and also a separate raffle of a lovely 100 percent cotton queen size quilt made by a generous donor, who hopes it will help the church raise money for its outreach activities.

Special children’s activities will be hosted by Giles, the church’s very own mouse. All children’s games are free.

Parishioners will be offering meatball sandwiches on the grille.

There will be live music throughout the day including the four-part barbershop harmony quartet “Heart ‘n Soul” and music by country artist Orville Lee.
