“Thelma” - (PG13; 1 hour, 37 minutes) -  Experience a refreshing twist on the action genre with “Thelma,” inspired by director Josh Margolin’s own grandmother. This film humorously reimagines classic action tropes, featuring an elderly grandmother as the unlikely hero. Margolin’s storytelling, infused with infectious humor, addresses aging with agency. In her first leading role of a 70-year career, June Squibb shines as the determined Thelma, proving she can handle anything, despite the doubts of her daughter Gail (Parker Posey), son-in-law Alan (Clark Gregg), and grandson Danny. Wednesday, July 31, 2 p.m. (OCAP) & 7 p.m. (regular), Thursday, August 1, 7 p.m.

“How typical of these ‘Despicable’ filmmakers to tug at our hearts and also remind us that the series is more about family than goons, gadgets and goofy schemes. For my money, Despicable Me 4 is the best outing of this franchise since its inception.” – Peter Howell, Toronto Star

“Inside Out 2” - (PG; 2 hours) - Opening Night Family Film Deal: Get two free admissions (1 Adult ticket and 1 Child's ticket) and one free large popcorn with each pass on Friday, Aug. 9 only! In Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2,” Riley’s mind headquarters is being demolished to make room for new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust have been running things smoothly until Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, arrives, and she isn’t alone. This sequel delves into the mind of a newly minted teenager, exploring how these characters adapt to the changes. Featuring the voices of Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Tony Hale, and Liza Lapira, the film is directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen. Opening, August 9 at 7 p.m.
