“Widow Clicquot” - (R; 1 hour, 29 minutes) - After her husband’s untimely death, Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot flouts convention by assuming the reins of the fledgling wine business they had nurtured together. Steering the company through dizzying political and financial reversals, she defies her critics and revolutionizes the champagne industry to become one of the world’s first great businesswomen. “Twisters” - (PG-13; 2 hours, 2 minutes) - From the producers of the Jurassic, Bourne and Indiana Jones series comes “Twisters,” a current-day chapter of the 1996 blockbuster, “Twister.” Daisy Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend Javi to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens, the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better. As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives. “Frances Floats” – Live On Stage Premiere! - “Frances Floats” is an original piece written, directed, produced, and performed by Frances Mercanti-Anthony in partnership with Lincoln Theater. Frances Mercanti-Anthony is an actor, writer, director, and teacher originally from Haddonfield, New Jersey. She made her Broadway debut in 2006, in the Tony award-winning Broadway production of Spring Awakening, and then went on to perform, teach, and direct in New York City, and Philadelphia over the next decade. In 2017, she met a man from Maine, and her whole life changed. This is her story. One night only, Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
