The Southport Planning Board will be holding a public hearing on a proposed amendment to the Southport Land Use Ordinance to require the permitting of most blasting in Southport.

The hearing will be held at the Southport Town Hall at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29. 

Copies of the proposed ordinance change can be viewed at the Southport General Store, the Southport Memorial Library, or the Southport Town website.  Individual copies may be downloaded from the town website.
