There won’t be the chicken barbecue and other features from the past but the Boothbay Civic Association will hold its fundraising Fourth of July Celebration this year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The BCA invites all to come to the Boothbay Common for hamburgers, hot dogs, kids’ games, music and other old-time 4th of July activities.

The BCA is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit and its mission states: “Initiating and supporting community and educational projects and programs for the betterment of the region.” Its motto is “For the Common Good.”
