This year’s Fishermen’s Festival wrapped up April 27 with the Blessing of the Fleet, the boat parade and traditional memorial service, where local clergy read the names of fishermen lost or perished at sea.
Twenty-six people chose to explore Burnt Island on the Novelty, captained by Bill Campbell, watching the boat parade on the return journey.
