The first-ever Lee Hague Memorial Block Party and Fundraiser, open to the public, will be held Saturday, Aug. 10 at 1 p.m., 90 Road B., Woolwich.

A cornhole tournament and other games, a bounce house, silent auction, music and karaoke will be featured – fun for the whole family.

This is a fundraiser, organized by Rescue Charlie’s Friends-Dog Rescue, is for a new training and rehabilitation center.

Rescue Charlie’s Friends is a nonprofit, volunteer-run dog rescue which saves dogs from high kill shelters in southern states, primarily from Alabama and Texas. Rescue Charlie’s Friends has rescued over 700 dogs since 2018.
