The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team, coached by Mark Gorey, ended the regular season Wednesday with a 3-1 win at Mountain Valley. Rain caused the first singles match to be canceled.

The win improved Boothbay's record to 11-1. As of Thursday morning, the Seahawks were in second place behind St. Dom's (11-1) and Hall-Dale, also 11-1, was in third place, according to the Maine Principals' Association's Heal point standings.

Tournament pairings will be announced.

Today, May 26, the Seahawks will square off against the St. Dom’s Saints in Auburn for the Mountain Valley Conference championship beginning at 3:30.
