Six graduating Boothbay Region track and cross country athletes were honored in a joint senior ceremony May 19. Coaches Dennis Dacus and Nick Scott led the ceremony.
Zada Smith was a four-year cross country team member. She plans on attending college in Maine or Canada. She is the daughter of Scott and Libby Smith.
Glory Blethen was a four-year cross country team member. She plans on attending the Coast Guard Academy next fall. She is the daughter of Brian and Lesley Blethen.
Ryan Russell was a four-year cross country team member. He plans on attending University of Vermont next fall. He is the son of Joseph and Jana Caldwell.
Fox Elder was a four-year member of the cross country team. He plans on attending Rochester Institute of Technology after graduation. He is the son of Matt and Abby Elder.
Graham Harris was a four-year member of the cross country team. He plans on attending Bowdoin College in Brunswick next fall. He is the son of Bruce and Medea Harris.
Nathan Chatterton was a three-year member of the cross country and track teams. He plans on attending Northeastern University next fall. He is the son of Geoff and John Chatterton.
Fox Elder was not present for the ceremony.
