Boothbay crushes St. Dom’s
The Boothbay Region High School boys varsity basketball team improved to 7-2 on the season with a 56-26 win over host St. Dom’s on Saturday, Jan. 2.
The Seahawks jumped out to a 31-9 halftime lead behind Kyle Ames’ 12 first-half points. St. Dom’s struggled to score points the entire game and only had one player in double figures, Sam Rines with 11.
Alex Smith had a great second half for the Seahawks as he scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Ames finished with 12 points and Abel Bryer had 10 points.
