The Boothbay Region High School boys varsity basketball team opened its 2022-2023 season with a 63-49 win over the Madison High School Bulldogs in Madison Saturday afternoon, Dec. 10.

“We worked hard as a team and executed the game plan against their top scorer, Callan Franzose,” said Seahawks coach Dan Hallinan. “We cleaned up our early preseason fouling and miscues as the game went along. We played well overall.”
