It was a close game on October 8 at home for the girls varsity soccer team. They were facing Monmouth for the second time this season and lost, 3-2. It was a major improvement over their last match, which was an 8-0 shutout.

Thursday’s goals were scored by Evy Case and Ella Spear.

“We played much better yesterday,” Coach Ben Powell said.

The game was a replacement for the Telstar game that was originally scheduled for Monday, October 12, as Telstar doesn't have team this year. Due to the rain, the homecoming game against Oak Hill has been postponed to Monday at 6 p.m.
