The Boothbay Region boys varsity basketball team stormed out to an 11-0 start and defeated the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds , 60-53, in a Mountain Valley Conference contest in Boothbay Harbor Wednesday night.
Boothbay improves to 6-2 while Lisbon drops to 4-4.
Lisbon forward Tyrese Joseph led all scorers with 19 points. Guard Kyle Ames and forward Jacob Leonard led the Seahawks with 12 points apiece.
Boothbay will play at St. Dom’s on Saturday, Jan. 2. Start time is 2:30 p.m.
