Boothbay candidates have until March 7 to return nomination papers. So far, no candidate has returned papers with the minimum 25 required signatures.

Four incumbents and two newcomers have taken out papers. Incumbent selectmen are Steve Lewis and Dale Harmon. Incumbent Nell Tharpe is a trustee of the Boothbay Region Water District. Incumbent Troy Lewis is member of the Boothbay/Boothbay Harbor Community School District Board of Trustees. Incumbent John Bertolet decided not to seek re-election after 26 years on the CSD school board. There is an open seat on the Boothbay/Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District board.

All municipal offices listed are for three-year terms.
