Boothbay Special Olympics team competes at Morse

On Friday, May 24 the Boothbay Special Olympics team traveled to Morse High School for the Sagadahoc-Lincoln Area Games.
Piper Rankin was selected to carry the torch for the opening ceremonies. It was such an honor and he was proud.
The team did very well with their shot put events and the practice has paid off. The new mini javelins have been worked into practice and several team members have been practicing daily since they arrived.
We are ready and excited for the State Special Olympics Games June 7-9 at Orono.
