Boothbay upsets top-seeded Richmond
The Boothbay Region Seahawks jumped into the Class C South post-season mix with a 62-56 win over the top-seeded Richmond Bobcats on Tuesday, Jan. 23 in Richmond.
Wednesday morning Heal point standings on the Maine Principals’ Association website show the Seahawks moving up from 15th to 10th place in the division with the top 12 making the post-season.
Finn Harkins led Boothbay with 35 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Luke Morley with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Boothbay improved to 4-11 with the win and Richmond lost its first game and are now 12-1.
The Seahawks next host the Madison Bulldogs (6-5, 8th in the division) on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
