January 5 was a great day for the Boothbay Region YMCA Dolphins swim team. We had 100 percent of our swimmers competing against the visiting team, Old Town's Canoe City Swim Club. Many of the Dolphins took first, second or third place in their events. There were many personal best swims as well. A special thanks goes out to Chris Groneng for his beautiful rendition of our national anthem.
