BRHS field hockey raffle winners announced

The Boothbay Region Lady Seahawks field hockey team raffled off two five person dinner bags to support ongoing fundraising efforts for the team. The Surf and Turf themed baskets were made possible by the generous donations of Atlantic Edge Lobster, Pinkham’s Gourmet Market and Cathy Blake. The drawing was held Oct. 3.
Both dinner bags included potatoes, corn on the cob and homemade blueberry pie courtesy of Cathy Blake. The Turf dinner included five, strip steaks from Pinkham’s. The Surf dinner included ten lobsters from Atlantic Edge.
The team sold over over 1,700 raffle tickets and raised over $3,300 from ticket sales and donations. The winner of the Turf dinner was Ken Fine, owner of Cool Threads, and the winner of the Surf dinner was Bar Clarke.
