“BRHS school records were broken and set at Cony on Friday night,” Coach Nick Scott wrote in an email, “A REALLY big congratulations are in store for Draco Peaslee who broke the school record in the 100m run in a time of 11.28. His time bested Steve Callahan whose old record of 11.34 was set back in 1984.” Peaslee’s second place finish is the second fastest in BRHS history.
“ Nick Morley is the first BRHS athlete to compete in pole vault and as a result his mark of 8 feet becomes our school record as well. As an interesting side note, Nick now joins his sister Hannah Morley (3200m) and his mom, Sarah (Brewer) Morley (high jump & triple jump) as a school record holder.”
“Hannah Cola had an impressive night as well, her performances placed her 7th on the 200m list and 9th on both the 400m and 100m lists. Her sister Reagan, earned the 8th spot on 400m top ten list earlier in the week at Lisbon. Jay Hasch jumped 5'10" in the high jump which ties him for the 3rd best jump among BRHS athletes.”
