The Boothbay Region High School boys and girls basketball teams will be in action over school vacation.

The boys varsity will participate in the Gray-New Gloucester Christmas Classic tournament at G-NG High School on Saturday, Dec. 26. The high school is on 10 Libby Hill Road in Gray.

Boothbay will face Fryeburg at 10:35 a.m.; Lee Academy at 12:45 p.m.; and G-NG at 4 p.m. Other teams participating include Lisbon and Oak Hill.

Admission (all-day admission) will be $4 for adults and $2 for students/seniors. A full concession stand will be open all day.

On Tuesday, Dec. 29, the boys varsity and jayvee teams will host Lisbon at BRHS, with the jayvees tipping off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7.

The girls varsity and jayvees will host Lisbon on Monday, Dec. 28. The jayvee game will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7.

The girls varsity will play a Class A North team, Hampden Academy, at the Capital City Classic tournament at the Augusta Civic Center at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

Both varsity teams will play at St. Dom's on Saturday, Jan. 2, with the girls game tipping off at 1 p.m., followed by the boys at 2:30.
