First and second singles players Cleyton Splaine and Sawyer Blake won their matches but the Boothbay Region Seahawks fell to the Mountain Valley Falcons, 3-2, in Class C boys tennis in Rumford April 30.

Splaine defeated Owen Seviney, 6-7 (4-7) 6-1 6-4, and Blake defeated Brody Jameson, 7-5 6-2.

Boothbay forfeited the third singles match.

In first doubles, Boothbay’s Chase Mansfield and Andrew Fowlie lost 2-6 2-6 to Caleb Gamash and River Durant 

Seahawks Neal Baldwin and Rodi Mayne lost 6-2 2-6 4-6 to Aidan and Nate Gamash in second doubles.
