Global impacts of Israel-Hamas War subject of talk

Learn more about the Israel-Hamas War in a discussion led by political consultant Hulya Aksu. The talk takes place from 5:50 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the community room of Boothbay Region High School. 

Aksu will discuss how the Israel-Hamas conflict is shaping the Middle East, global diplomacy, humanitarian efforts, and the impact of the conflict on the world as a whole. She encourages people to look beyond isolated events and consider the broader implications of geopolitical development. The Israel-Hamas talk integrates social, political, economic, and religious aspects to provide a comprehensive understanding of global affairs. 

Aksu has a Master’s degree in political science from the University of San Diego. She serves as a professional coach and mentor for international NGOs, supporting immigrants and students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
