Hall-Dale shuts out Boothbay
The visiting Hall-Dale Bulldogs jumped out to a 3-0 first quarter lead, held Boothbay to just two shots on goal, and went on to defeat the Seahawks, 6-0, at Perkins Field, Boothbay Region High School on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
Ava Corbett scored three goals, Avery Baker two and Kiley Rolfe one as the Bulldogs improved to 2-4-2. Rolfe and Baker each had an assist. Hall-Dale had nine penalty corner opportunities while Boothbay had two.
With the loss, Boothbay dropped to 2-6.
Seahawk goalie Jaelyn Crocker had 12 saves while Hall-Dale goalie Kathy Cormier had two.
Boothbay’s next game is Monday, Oct. 4 at Mountain Valley in Rumford.
