Homecoming at BRHS begins
Homecoming week at Boothbay Region High School began Monday, Oct. 5 with a student dress-up day, Pajama Day, and activities will continue until the end of the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
Other student dress-up days will be: Tuesday: Twin Day; Wednesday: Class Color Day (each class assigned a color); Thursday: Hallway Theme Day.
The Homecoming Pep Rally will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Seniors will be building the Homecoming Bonfire after the pep rally.
Each class will be doing its float building on Thursday, Oct. 8, behind the high school, starting at 12:30 p.m.
The Homecoming Parade is on Thursday, Oct. 8, starting from the Boothbay Harbor Fire Station at 6:30 p.m. Floats arrive at the station at 6 for photos. The Homecoming Bonfire will be lit following the conclusion of the parade.
The Homecoming games will be played Friday, Oct. 9, with soccer and field hockey starting at 3:30 p.m., followed by the football game at 7 p.m. Admission to the football game will be by donation with proceed benefiting the Set for Success program.
The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Carousel Theater, 7 to 10 p.m.
