The Waynflete Flyers jumped out to a 32-9 first half lead and went on to defeat the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks, 51-31, in Portland on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 28.

Lucy Hart led Waynflete (4-10) with 28 points, followed by Lauren McNutt-Girouard’s 12 points.

Kathryn Hibbard and Tatum French each scored eight points for Boothbay (2-11), while Meg Sledge added five.

The Lady Seahawks are scheduled to travel to Mountain Valley on Monday and host Carrabec on Wednesday.
