Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 484 calls for service for the period of July 23 to July 30. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 8,287 calls for service.

    Summons

    Robert Grierson, 42, of Rockland was issued a summons July 27 for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

    Arrests

    Jeffrey M. Morse, 26, of Old Orchard Beach was arrested July 26 for Domestic Violence Assault, by Windham Police, on behalf of an investigation by Deputy Kasey Doyle, of an incident, which occurred on Augusta Road, Jefferson.  Mr. Morse was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Doyle.

    Brent A. Fogg, 52, of Bristol was arrested July 27 for Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Joseph Booth.

    Collin Kalina, 28, of New Harbor was arrested July 28 for Domestic Violence Assault; Domestic Violence Terrorizing and Criminal Mischief, on Snowball Hill Road, New Harbor, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

    Christopher J. Court, 40, of Nobleboro was arrested July 28 on two outstanding warrants, one from Knox County for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Suspension charge and one out of Cumberland County for Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Joseph Booth.

    Accidents

    On July 23, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson involving Jayla R. Donohoe, 17, of West Gardiner. Ms. Donohoe was operating her 2013 Chevrolet Silverado westbound when a deer ran out in front of her from the left side of the roadway and was struck, disabling her vehicle. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

    On July 23, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Gavin M. York, 21, of Pittston. Mr. York was operating his 2013 Ford F-150 southbound when due to driving too fast on inadequate tires in the rainy conditions, the vehicle hydroplaned on the road, spun sideways, crossed the center line, went off the road on the left and into the end of a guardrail. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

    On July 23, an accident occurred on Hodgkins Hill Road involving Kristina L. Bateman, 28, of Waldoboro. Ms. Bateman was operating her 1977 Toyota Celica westbound when she stated there was a steering issue that pulled the vehicle to the right. As a result, the vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck a CMP pole. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

    On July 25, an accident occurred on Lower Cross Road in Nobleboro involving Brenden P. Lane, 19, of Nobleboro. Mr. Lane was operating his 2014 Chevrolet 2500 eastbound when he reached down in the passenger side area and looked away from the road. Due to looking away, Mr. Lane drifted to the right, went partially off the road and struck a large rock. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.
