Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 6 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 412 calls for service for the period of Aug. 20 to Aug. 27. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,093 calls for service.

    Summons

    Adam A. Sprague, 39, of Boothbay was issued a summons Aug. 15 for Assault, on Sproul Hill Road, Bristol, by Deputy Joseph Booth.

    Arrests

    Matisse Fry, 42, of Augusta was arrested Aug. 20 on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for Failure to Appear, on River Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

    Christopher Beckwith, 26, of Windsor was arrested Aug. 20 on Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Violating Condition of Release charge, on Coopers Mills Road, Windsor, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

    William A. Schubeck, 71, of Blue Hill was arrested Aug. 23 for Operating under the Influence-Drugs/Combo, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

    Alexander H. Nielsen, 34, of Boothbay was arrested Aug. 24 for Violation of a Protection Order and Violating Condition of Release, on My Way, Boothbay, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.

    Mark H. Nordenson, 71, of Freeport was arrested Aug. 24 for Operating under the Influence – No Test, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

    Brooke A. Burnham, 28, of Nobleboro was arrested Aug. 26 on a Waldo County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Theft and Violating Condition of Release charges and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

    Accident

    On Aug. 22, an accident occurred on U.S. Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Caleb M. Young, 21, of Waldoboro and Willem Brans, 74, of New York, New York. Mr. Brans was operating his 2024 Volvo V60 westbound, and Mr. Young was operating his 2012 GMC 3500 eastbound, attempting to turn north (left hand turn) onto the East Pond Road. Young failed to yield to Brans’ vehicle and the vehicles collided. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
