WARREN — The Midcoast Athletics Center will be hosting Friday, April 2 the inaugural Midcoast High School All-Star Basketball Classic featuring top area players from each school within the Midcoast pod that played this winter. 

The girls basketball game will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Warren facility while the boys will begin playing at 7:30 p.m. 

The two games will feature 20 minute running halves and a three-point shooting contest at halftime of each game. 

Each player will be allowed to bring four spectators at a ticket cost of $5 per person. 

Game sponsors are The Midcoast Athletics Center, Machias Savings Bank, and Maple Lane Builders.
