The Boothbay Harbor Fire Department BBQ Fundraiser will be held Saturday, July 27, noon to 3 p.m. on the Boothbay Region High School football field, 236 Townsend Ave., Cost is $15 per person. All proceeds go towards the Minnehaha Fire Company. Rain date is Sunday, July 28

What’s on the menu?

Burgers, barbecued chicken, coleslaw, homemade baked goods and an assortment of beverages. We are grateful to have local farmers to providing the meat; Chase Farm of Whitefield and Maine-ly Poultry of Warren. 

There is a raffle! 

Generously donated by local businesses, we have so far a $500 gift card to Colby & Gale, 100 gallons of heating fuel from Dead River, Four box seat tickets to a Red Sox/Diamondbacks game at Fenway, a kid’s bike from Bath Cycle & Ski, a custom handmade quilt and loads of gift certificates to local businesses! Raffle winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. on the day of event! 

Activities, games and live music!

We’ll have fire truck exploration, a fire truck bounce house, cornhole, games and a dunk tank. Come soak your local firefighters, teachers and local do-gooders! Singer/songwriter Jackie Rudy will be performing and she is not to be missed, get there early!  

What is the Minnehaha Fire Company? 

The Minnehaha Fire Company was created by Boothbay Harbor volunteer firefighters. We are a dedicated group, proud to serve our community by safeguarding the land and lives of all. We hold fundraisers to raise money for fire equipment, safety gear, uniforms and trainings.
