The Oak Hill Raiders outlasted the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks, 62-53, in a Mountain Valley Conference tilt in Wales Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Boothbay couldn’t overcome a first quarter deficit of 16-9, despite the effort of Kayden Ames, who scored a game-high 23 points for the Seahawks. He also hauled down 12 rebounds.

Gryffin Kristan added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Matthew Sullivan scored eight points.

Jackson Arbour led the Raiders with 17 points, followed by Ramon Spearman with 14 and Caden Thompson with 10.

Oak Hill improved to 7-7 on the season while Boothbay dropped to 5-11.
