A back and forth game ended with the Oak Hill Raiders winning their first game of the season Friday night, Jan. 6 at Boothbay Region High School by a point, 35-34.
Missed free throws in the fourth quarter spoiled Boothbay’s effort to win its second straight game after the Seahawks had beaten Buckfield on Wednesday for their first win of the season.

The Seahawks (1-7) were led by Kathryn Hibbard with 13 points and Meg Sledge with eight.
Boothbay’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 10 at Mt. Abram (2-4).
