Following the composition and publication of “Past Images of Ocean Point, Maine” eight years ago, Sue Clark came to realize that there was so much more to learn and share about early days at Ocean Point. She immersed herself collecting, cataloging, and researching century old newspapers but with a different slant this time. The call went out to dig out and dust off long held family collections and the response was overwhelming. Puzzling together various images, newspaper articles and more, this book captures life as it was at Ocean Point over a hundred years ago. “Past Collections of Ocean Point, Maine” is an extraordinary gathering and compilation of significant collections including handwritten accounts, photographs, news, poems and people depicting early life and times at Ocean Point.
This comprehensive collection of over 450 photos and 230 newspaper pieces spreads over 186 color gloss 8.5” x 11” perfect bound pages. It is important to know that there are no duplicates of any photos from “Past Images of Ocean Point, Maine.”
