On Saturday, Oct. 5, The Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club sponsored High School sailing team traveled to Portland to participate in the Salty Dog Regatta. Racing against 16 other teams, the locals took fourth place in each of their respective divisions.
In division A, skipper Myron Hahn, with Liam Cullina as crew, mastered the course and garnered a strong fourth place.
In Division B, Ben Betts and Jess Murphy attained a similar finish with very strong starts and fast roundings.
The next regatta will be the Cheverus Cup to be held on October 19 at Sail Maine.
