The Boothbay Region High School varsity baseball team’s season was smothered with a 10-0 loss to St. Dominic Academy June 5. The Class D South playoff match was the Seahawks’ last game for 2024. They ended their regular season 6-10, and eighth out of 11 in the Heal point standings.

St. Dominic scored one run in the first inning, and three more each in the third, fourth and sixth innings. The Saints had two errors, and the Seahawks had eight.  

Liam Jacobs and Finn Harkins pitched for the Seahawks and threw a combined seven strikeouts. They allowed four walks and one earned run. Boothbay struck out 10 times and had one hit from Aidric Canada.
