Seahawks shut out previously undefeated Spruce Mountain
In a match-up of undefeated teams, the Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team remained undefeated, improving to 6-0 with a 5-0 win at home over the Spruce Mountain Phoenix on Thursday, May 16. With the win, Boothbay moved into the top spot in Class C South while Spruce Mountain (6-1) dropped to second in the Heal point standings.
Two matches – third singles and first doubles – went to three sets with the Seahawks getting the wins.
