Faith Blethen connected on six three-pointers and scored 30 points, Page Brown added 24 points, and the Boothbay Region girls varsity basketball team cruised past the Mt. Abram Roadrunners, 75-29, at the Augusta Civic Center Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 27.

The win improved Boothbay’s record to 7-0 while the loss dropped Mt. Abram’s record to 3-2.

Five other Boothbay players scored, including three-pointers by Sydney Meader, Kate Friant and Elisabeth Wright.

Mt. Abram was led by M. Sorel with 11 points.

The Seahawks’ next scheduled Mountain Valley Conference game is at Wiscasset on Jan. 3.
