University of Maine at Farmington women’s basketball senior forward Meghan Smith of Boothbay earned her fourth North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week selection on Monday.

Smith averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in a 1-1 conference week for the Beavers. In a tough 54-45 loss to New England College, the senior recorded her ninth double-double of the season as she netted 17 points and gathered 11 rebounds. In a 67-63 win over Colby-Sawyer, the forward tallied 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. The four-point win marked only the second time UMF has knocked off the Chargers all-time and the first time at home.
