Squirrel Island holds 72nd regatta

The Arthur Hale Veasey Memorial Regatta, now in its 72nd consecutive year, was held at Spring Cove on Squirrel Island on August 16. Each summer, the inhabitants of Squirrel Island hold the regatta in honor of its founder, Arthur Hale Veasey, who began the tradition on the island during World War II.
