“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure from Lucasfilm, the first of the Star Wars standalone films, prequels to the original Star Wars films that began in the mid 1970s.
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
The ensemble cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk, Mad Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, James Earl Jones and Jiang Wen.
Writing for Reel Views, critic James Berardinelli describes the film as “ … one of 2016's most anticipated films and it doesn't let down the legions who have been waiting for it.”
The film continues at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day (matinee at 2 p.m.), and Wednesday, Dec. 28 through New Year's Day. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

“Arrival” When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team — lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) — are brought together to investigate.
As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers, and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life and, quite possibly, humanity. Rated PG-13. Playing Friday, Dec. 23, 28 and 29 at 2 and 7 p.m.
