The Telstar Rebels got 32 points from junior forward Morgan Zetts and went on to defeat the Boothbay Region Seahawks, 58-33, at Boothbay Region High School Thursday afternoon, Feb. 9.
The Rebels outscored the Seahawks, 27-5, in the final quarter as Zetts scored 18 of her points in those final eight minutes.
Junior forward Karen Marshall propelled the visitors to a 16-5 first quarter lead with four 3-pointers. She had five total and 17 points.
Tatum French led Boothbay with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Magen Burge scored eight, Maddie Orchard seven, Anna Gosselin three and Megan Sledge two.
Coach Bruce Orne’s young team finishes the season with a 3-15 record. Telstar finishes the season with a 3-14 record.
