“Blackberry” - (R; 1 hour, 59 minutes) - The story of Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, the two men that charted the course of the spectacular rise and catastrophic demise of the world’s first smartphone. “Jaws” - (1975; 2 hours, 4 minutes) - What better way to celebrate summer than with some old favorites on the big screen! Lincoln Theater is pleased to present the second film in our 2023 Summer Blockbuster series, “Jaws.” When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature. Directed by Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg, Jaws set the standard for edge-of-your seat suspense, quickly becoming a cultural phenomenon and forever changing the way audiences experience movies. “Jaw” remains one of the most influential and gripping adventures in motion picture history. Playing for two screenings only, Thursday, July 20 at 7 p.m. and Friday, July 21 at 1 p.m. (note early start time.)

Coming soon: “Past Lives” - July 21.
