“Fleabag” - (National Theater Live - 3 hours) - Back by popular demand for two encore screenings! Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve), “Fleabag” is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. “Fleabag” may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.  Thursday, Aug. 10 at 2 and 7 p.m.  Tickets: adults $15,  members $13, and youth $5.

“Cat Video Fest 2023”- (NR; 1 hour, 15 minutes) -  This compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses is fun for all ages! Only available in theaters, Cat Video Fest raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area. Playing Saturday, Aug. 12 at 2 and 7 p.m. and Wednesday,  Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. 10% of Lincoln Theater’s ticket sales will be donated to MidCoast Humane.

“Forrest Gump” -  (PG-13; 2 hours, 22 minutes) - What better way to celebrate summer than with some old favorites on the big screen! Lincoln Theater is pleased to present the final film in our 2023 Summer Blockbuster series, Forrest Gump. Slow-witted Forrest Gump has never thought of himself as disadvantaged, and thanks to his supportive mother, he leads anything but a restricted life. Whether dominating on the gridiron as a college football star, fighting in Vietnam or captaining a shrimp boat, Forrest inspires people with his childlike optimism. Plays Wednesday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m.
