2024 Vintage Car Show will award six trophies
The 11th annual OBD Williams-Fossett Vintage Car Show volunteers report that 2024 trophies have already arrived due to quick action by the Bristol Town Office staff. Six trophies will be awarded by popular voting including first, second and third place, outstanding motorcycle, staff pick and the coveted “kids pick” trophy decided by young attendees, twelve and under.

Motor Booty Affair delights hundreds
The weather gods were smiling once again, when Motor Booty Affair returned to the stage Wednesday, June 26 for the first concert in this year’s Southport Musicfest series.

Dresden Summerfest July 14
The grounds of the historic Pownalborough Court House in Dresden will be filled with the sounds of a perfect summer day on Sunday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. ‘Seal Rock’: New science fiction novel set in Maine

Gulf of Maine Discovery Center grand opening
The grand opening for the public of the Gulf of Maine Discovery Center, formerly the site of the Maine State Aquarium, was held Wednesday, June 26 during the 62nd Boothbay Harbor Windjammer Days Festival.

An Australian “clawed’ his way to victory June 26 in the 2024 Windjammer Days lobster eating contest. Craig Browning and wife Melissa are from Newcastle, Australia which is a couple hours north of Sydney. The couple is on a six-week tour of North America. Sheyenne Upham, 11, was crowned 2024 Royal Windjammer among the six contestants in the Boothbay’s Got Talent pageant held at Boothbay Region YMCA Sunday, June 23.
